Norton Identity Safe log in problem/

I am currently experiencing an intermittent problem getting to the Identity safe log in. When I open Norton Security, it occasionally shows Identity Safe as 'Off'. I select it to on, try to log in, but the Log In window does not open.

If I close Norton Security and re-open it, it is again switched 'Off'. and the cycle begins again.

This may last a couple of days  (with the computer being shut down and restarted) and then rectifies itself.

Anyone know how to cure this?

Having exact same problem starting about a week ago. Thought it might relate to syncing Chrome across devices. Turned sync off and IS stayed on long enough to allow me to use it but reoccurred after rebooting. No problem on my Win7 PC w/Chrome.

Hello All: Are you using Windows 10 computers? If yes, please disable Fast Startup and restart your computers. Then test to see if it works  Also please use a Windows Administrator Account if you are changing settings. If using a Local Vault, please be careful not to get changed to a Online vault if you do not want to change,

Thanks for the suggestion. This problem is occurring on my Windows 10 PC. Already found the recommendation to disable Fast Start on another post. It didn't solve the problem. I run Chrome on my Windows 10 & Windows 7 PC's and had "Sync" turned on to keep some Chrome settings consistent on both PC's. Since this problem was only affecting my Windows 10 PC I suspected that might be what was causing the problem. I turned "Sync" off on both PC's and that appears to have solved the problem. If you're running Chrome on multiple PC's, open Settings in Chrome and "Sync" appears just below Sign In/Sign Out in the "People" box. If it's turned on, try turning it off to see if that resolves this issue.
