"Norton Internet Security" changed.

My "Norton Internet Security" will  no longer be available after June 2019.

I see that "Norton Antivirus Basic", "Norton Antivirus Plus" and "Norton 360 Standard" are all cheaper than my present cover.

Can anyone advise me on whether any of these would be appropriate. I want to cover one laptop. Do not use wireless devices or want public or mobile use. I just want to secure cover for internet use.

Hello Ollybean. Norton Antivirus Plus would be a good choice for one device. Annual rate is $39.99 US. Covers all the basic need without features you don't need.

Cheers

Re: "Norton Internet Security" changed.

Where did you see that Norton Internet Security will no longer be available? Did you see some notice somewhere, or did you get an email from Norton.  That product, (not the newer Norton Security), was not available for sale for a couple of years now. You could renew, but that usually costs more.

If you are referring to the newer Norton Security products no longer being available in the US, and the Norton website only showing the newer product lines, you could just upgrade to one of the newer products, and save money.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

Re: "Norton Internet Security" changed.

I am in the UK.

Norton sent me an email to say I could have a free upgrade to Norton 360, up to my renewal date in six months.

When I looked at the list of subscription renewal prices applicable from June 2019 it showed a sub heading "Availability ended : No longer available for purchase", and my long standing "Norton Internet Security" was on that list.

I have not had a notice to this effect from Norton.

It looks like I may have been paying too much, at £59.99, for what I need.

So "Norton Antivirus Plus" is looking good at £34.99.

Ollybean. You can verify the validity of the email you received at this site. Its always a good idea to check to ensure that you aren't getting a scam message.
