Norton Password Manager slows Firefox

Several times a day I get the following message in a yellow band at the top of the Firefox browser:

A script in the extension "Norton Password Manager" is causing Firefox to slow down.

and it gives the choice of temporarily stopping the extension, stopping it, or waiting.

It is becoming very annoying. It slows action on my browser to a crawl. This has been happening for months (maybe a full year), and I have made sure I have the most up-to-date versions of Norton, Firefox and Windows 10 running.

Is there a fix for this? Is there an incompatibility of the Norton Password Manager extension with Firefox? What can be done to correct this?

Thank you!

Re: Norton Password Manager slows Firefox

Hello KR. Could you please post a screenshot of what you are seeing for us to review? Here are instructions on how to do that.

Cheers

Re: Norton Password Manager slows Firefox

I will try, but the error banner often will appear and then disappear before I could normally do a screen shot. Next time it happens, I'll attempt to.

That is great. I have a similar problem with Firefox. Has anyone seen anything about that?
