Norton Password Manager Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again.

For the last 2 months or so, I get an error sometimes that there was error opening my Norton vault with the Firefox Add-On - "Norton Password Manager Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again". I followed the instructions at Norton's site solution: https://support.norton.com/sp/en/us/home/current/solutions/v127393121

This did not help at all. However, I did try to login to the vault in the Norton App itself and succeeded. Consequently, I was then able to login to the vault through the Firefox Add-On.

Hopefully this helps someone with this problem.

You could also try signing out of your Norton Account in the FF extension. Click on the NPM icon and look at the bottom of the window that opens. Click on Sign Out. Restart your browser and try logging into your vault again. You will have to first sign into your Norton Account, before entering the vault password.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.
