Norton Password Manager - sync with other devices

I regularly change passwords and I updated my Norton Password Manager on a Windows 10 device.

I noticed there a delay of a few hours for the updated passwords to show on my IOS devices using Norton Password Manager. All devices were signed in and remained online. Everything has synchronized now, but there was a gap when the IOS devices password manager displayed the old password, even after changing them on the Windows device a few hours earlier.  Any thoughts on the lag?  I don't recall this happening before.  All devices are running their latest OS.

Re: Norton Password Manager - sync with other devices

Are you still logged into your Windows device after making changes to logins while waiting for the iOS devices to sync?

I recently tested this exact scenario. Create/change login on Windows PC, and it immediately updated on my iPhone. It is possible you just ran into some temporary server issues.

You can always force a vault sync on your iOS devices by pulling down on the screen while the logins are being shown.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

Re: Norton Password Manager - sync with other devices

Yes, I was logged into the Windows device while waiting for the IOS sync.  I was thinking it might have been a temporary issue, the sync issue never happened before.

Everything is in sync now.  Also, thanks for letting my know about forced sync, I was not aware of that.

You are welcome. Some features are not documented or obvious. I found it by accident.
