Norton popups about ransomware

Probably once or twice a day I get a popup message from Norton (?) telling me that there is a new ransomware threat, but don't worry because Norton has it covered. I click a "Learn More" button, a Close button, or the X in the title bar. How can I tell if it is really from Norton, and how can I prevent this from coming up all the time?

Re: Norton popups about ransomware

oblates Here is how to post a screenshot to the forums for us to see. Its a safer means for all concerning when it comes to opening files, etc. https://community.norton.com/en/forums/how-post-image-forums-0

Once we see your screenshot we can help determine if you are seeing something legit or if its from another source. Thanks.

Cheers

OK,

I have read this and see that it will allow the jpg file. I will see if I can modify my post about the second problem and do it this way.

Thanks!

Re: Norton popups about ransomware

I'm not seeing these alerts. If I want to see these (ex: for reference) what do I need to turn on?
