Norton Safe Search On Chrome

When I click on Norton Safe Search icon on Google Chrome (  I have Norton 360 Deluxe) I get a 404 error; It says:

(Above the  error message it says: Google)

404. That’s an error.

The requested URL was not found on this server. That’s all we know.

How do I get it to work?

Re: Norton Safe Search On Chrome

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. It didn't work so I called Norton tech support and the young lady and I together fixed it. She said when my Norton was installed the Norton Safe Search probably didn't install correctly. She had me clear my browsing history and then tried another install. Clicked on the extensions icon at the top and all 3 Norton extensions (safe web,  password manager and safe search were listed but safe search was not a standalone icon as safe web and password manager. So I told the Norton tech I noticed it was the only one not marked as pinned. I clicked on the pin and now that icon is there too. When I left click it, it comes up. So my problem is solved. Hope this information may help someone else with a similar problem.

: Thanks for getting back to me with your advice.

Re: Norton Safe Search On Chrome

Yes, I needed to pin Norton Safe Search... to show Norton Safe Search button [here].

If you upgraded to new version of Google Chrome web browser, you might have immediately noticed the new "Extensions" menu button added to the main toolbar. A new Jigsaw puzzle piece icon is displayed in the latest version of Google Chrome browser.

This new Extensions toolbar button shows list of all installed extensions in Google Chrome. You can pin/unpin extensions to Chrome toolbar, directly uninstall/remove extensions from Chrome and access extensions options. You can also launch the main Extensions page (chrome://extensions/) by clicking on "Manage Extensions" option directly from this new Extensions menu.
