Norton Scam Insight Message on Website

Hello,

About two years, my former website - www.marilee.org - was verified through Norton and all had been fine with it showing safe since then. Fast forward to yesterday. Yesterday, I requested a new verification because the www. was dropped from my domain a few months ago when my new host transferred my site away from an all-in-one provider to a self-hosted WordPress.org site. Now my site is being flagged - Scam Insight: Personal Information Risk.

Please remove the flag and add my site - https://marilee.org - to your Scam Insight: Whitelist.

Let me know if you need any other info from me.

Thanks!

Re: Norton Scam Insight Message on Website

I am having the exact same problem. I notified Norton twice and it persists. I am trying to get into my own webmail and this keeps happening. Now today I get yet another message saying request check failed and can't even get into webmail. Very frustrating, webhost not sure what to do since it is a Norton problem.

I tried contacting Norton support via chat 4 times but the window never opens when it is supposed to forward me to an agent. Yes, popup blocker has been removed. What else to do? I don't want to call on the phone, it will be harder to explain

Re: Norton Scam Insight Message on Website

Hello ManGoRound. The Norton SafeWeb report shows your site as untested. Please see my link. No scam insight is being reported on my end. Please follow the instructions for "site owners". That will get the process started for a fresh metadata tag you'll need to insert into the <head> section of your site main page. Once done we can have the site manually verified. Being its the weekend someone will see this after midnight the coming Sunday for action. @floplot

Re: Norton Scam Insight Message on Website

Hello ManGoRound

I will notify the Safe Web Team to remove your Scam Insight warning. I just got the notice also when i tried going to your site. This is while using Chrome. The Scam Warning is showing up because it is a new site or you have made a change to the website. Any change  to the site makes it seem like it's a new  site. That is the reasoning behind getting this website on the Scam Insight WhiteList. Please make sure the Meta Tag is placed in the website.

Please stay tuned to this thread for a response from the Safe Web Team on Sunday night after Midnight EDT.

Have a Good Night and

Thanks.
