Norton search engine!

I can't do anything about as you/Symantec work together with ask.com.

The search engine is specific for USA only what people most search for there.

You have to remake the search engine for each country where people are using Norton products.

Because the search engine do not search at all what people search for in my country.

We have the letters å,ä and ö in my country.

Re: Norton search engine!

Or you could disable Safe Search and just use your favourite search engine. If you decide to use Chrome with the Safe Web extension enabled, you will still see the Norton Safe Web indications in your search results.

Re: Norton search engine!

I use Firefox and not any other browser.

I use google.se as search engine and if I search  for "tåg" and it shows full list of what other people people have searched in my country but with Norton Search Engine is showing a lot of things that I do not need.

Norton Search Engine can´t show Å,Ä and Ö as Norton search engine working together with ask.com.

And the Norton marker is not there if the page is safe or not as it was before ask.com.

They should remove ask.com and start work with google.com or google.se as in my country so I can see if the page is safe or not before clicking on it.

I use Kaspersky Internet Security on another computer and there I can see if the page is safe or not before I click on it.

Re: Norton search engine!

Sorry. The Safe Web icons have not been available in Firefox search results for some time. This has been for some time now when Mozilla changed the way that extensions work with FF. No idea why one developer can provide guidance and another cannot.

Someone else here may be able to help more with the Safe Search results for your location.
