I was wondering what changed in the product update to 184.108.40.206? I can't find an announcement anywhere.
Yeah, it has been noticed by the Gurus and we are also waiting for an announcement.
It looks to share the same new features as the EAP version.
I found this;
Adminstrative Settings>Search Shortcut Key
I don't think I've seen that before.
Yep, same as the EAP version. There is also a Search link if you right click the tray icon.
The KB article for the search shortcut says it was written 11/2016
Note: Norton 22.9 supports: Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 10, 10 Anniversary Update & 10 Creators Update
I've updated Norton Internet Security to 220.127.116.11.
Based on the new feature "Native 64-bit support ," I expected to see the Norton Internet Security folder to move from Program Files (x86) to Program Files. But instead it still resides in Program Files (x86), and includes a sub-folder called Engine32. Is there a problem, or is there something that I don't understand regarding what "Native 64-bit" means? Windows 7, 64-bit.
On a related note, should I ever need to download virus definitions manually, would I select x86 or x64?.
If you need to download manually, you would choose x64 if you are running a 64 bit OS.
