Norton Security Help Center and More Norton not working or not responding

When I click the following within the Help Center area of Norton Security (with Backup) nothing happens:

  • I need help using this product
  • Add a Device
  • Feedback
  • My Norton
  • New Version Check

These seem to work fine when I click on them:

  • Get Support**
  • Product Manual
  • About
  • Subscription Status
  • Product Key

** - Norton AutoFix says it can not find any issues, however if I click on open support web site nothing happens.

Also at the opening screen for Norton Security (with Backup) the functions/tasks (Identity Safe, Add Devices, Family, Manage) under the More Norton tab, the selections will not start the task after clicking on the starting function.  For example, under Add Devices, nothing happens when I click 'Show Me How'.

Note: I have run Norton AutoFix, Live Update and reinstalled (after using the removal tool) several times however these issues still remain.

Any Suggestions?

I just clicked on Add a Device and it brought me to the support page for adding a device, so that worked fine as it is supposed to. I have the same program as you have in the English version. I haven't tried the other features you have asked about.

Success always occurs in private and failure in full view. Windows 10 Pro 64 bit Norton Core Security Plus 22.17.3.50 Core Firmware 282 I E 11 Chrome latest version.

Have you restarted your computer?

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

Hello Ar0691,

About one month ago I had noticed the same problem with some of the items on the Help Center not responding.

Also under Settings/Detailed Settings to the right of some items there is a "?" for more information - that was also not working for me.

However, today I checked again and everything is working as it should!

I am a bit suspicious that it may have something to do with the browser as most of those items connect to the internet. Which browser are you using ? (e.g. Firefox, Chrome etc.). Just for interest you could try changing your default browser.

ANSWER: Default browser had not been set under default apps (Windows 10)

I set my default browser to Chrome and BINGO it worked!!!!!!
