Norton Security Suite from Comcast will not activate
I recently loaded Norton Security Suite from Comcast. I have tried many times to complete the activation process with no success. I have removed and reinstalled a couple of times at least. When ever I hit Activate Now I get a screen saying "Communicating with the Symantec Server" with a rolling arrow going from a Monitor to a globe. Eventually a message comes back that the NSS was not activated. Sometimes but not always another screen will open in the background that seems to be for activating Norton 360. When I try to use this screen with the NSS code provided by Comcast I get a message saying the code is not active for Norton 360 at this time with an offer to purchase Norton 360. All the information on Norton Help is written in a way indicating Activation should happen easily if not automatically, so of no help. I have seen some threads on the Forum which seem to be similar but not for a new installation. I've trying off and on to activate for 5 days and am uncertain of my protection status, because NSS appears to be working even though it says it needs to be activated. Help this is getting really frustrating.
