Norton Security in use, Win7 Action Center says no spyware

I am using Norton Security with Backup.  It shows active and everything is 'green'.  The Windows Action Center is showing a 'flag' and indicates I have no active anti-spyware running.  It offers me the choice of Norton Security, Spybot or Windows Defender.  When I click on Norton Security, nothing happens.

Do I have active anti-spyware as indicated by the 'green" signal on Norton Security or do I believe the Windows 7 Action Center?  How do I get them both to agree and know I am protected?

Re: Norton Security in use, Win7 Action Center says no spyware

Hi, mepollock. In the Action Center Under Security, it should show that Firewall and Spyware operations are being handled by Norton.

If this is not the case, you might run Live Update until version comes through if not already, and see if that fixes this issue.

Try rebooting after, to see if things settle in properly.

If you need to reinstall, we can offer advice on that, if needed.
