Is this a Norton thing?

Since I installed Norton on my Win 10 PC, when I browse files in folders using the ICON view, most of the picture is blocked by a gray box with a white forward slash.  Timingwise I thought it might be Norton but maybe not.  Anyway to get rid of this so I can see my icons?   I couldnt get a pdf or png file to upload so made it my profile picture...

All: Disable "backup status overlays" and that issue will correct itself as in the Microsoft article. Here is the simplest way to deselect it.

Re: Is this a Norton thing?

Thanks much!  You folks fixed me up.  I haven't been using the backup function so didn't even think of that.  All is good now.  Cheers!
