Norton Toolbar disappears when my computer restarts

Every time my computer restarts, my Norton Toolbar disappears. I have to go and hunt for it, uncheck and recheck the Toolbar extension. Now it appears that it has to be selected with Norton Safe Search, which I don't like because it doesn't give me the same information as a Google search. Anybody have any other solutions? This really is driving me nuts.

Re: Norton Toolbar disappears when my computer restarts

Hello Samantha S

Welcome to the Norton Community Forums.

Which browser are you using? What o/s please? I'm pretty sure you can turn off Safe Search and keep your Toolbar. What is your Norton product and version please? Ahh, I see from your Label that you are using Chrome. Do you have the latest installed of every thing? Have you tried a different browser to check if the same thing happens please.? What other Extensions are you using? Have you made sure that the Extensions are enabled.

Sorry about all the questions, but we can't see your computer, so we need as much background as possible so that someone can help you.

Have a Nice Evening and

Thanks.

Open Norton, sign into Identity safe, go to little gear (settings) on bottom of login list, go to general settings should see line to open tool bar (circle will be red will turn green when checked). I just did it and tool bar is back.
