Currently no 64 bit browsers are supported by Norton products.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

Re: Norton Toolbar NOT compatible with new x64 Google Chrome

Norton should support the Chrome x64 browser because it is more secure.  Norton should support their customers' use of more secure products.

Is Chrome x64 more secure?

64-bit Chrome offers many benefits for speed, stability and security.

Finally, on 64-bit, our defense in depth security mitigations such as Partition Alloc are able to far more effectively defend against vulnerabilities that rely on controlling the memory layout of objects.

I've asked for confirmation on this post by @RDLeo

AFAIK this will be the first 64 bit browser support.

I'm missing the Safe Web icons too after switching to 64-bit Chrome; will they be back after this upcoming patch?
