Norton unlock Vault not sending message to phone

I have the latest version of Norton and am relatively happy with it. Used for years. However, I have just started using Microsoft Edge and hit a problem.

Within Google an automatic unlock request is sent to my phone and works great. Unfortunately, although Edge says it's sent a request to my phone, but it never arrives!

I just tested on Chrome and on the new Edge with the same version you noted and both Mobile Unlock requests came through immediately.

BTW when I looked at the version of Edge, it updated to ver 85.0.564.70.

Have you tested as I just did to see if Chrome is still sending you the requests, before trying Edge again?

I have just retested on Chrome (successful and immediate). I also retested on Edge Version 85.0.564.70 (Official build) (64-bit) and didn't even get the notification that the Mobile request had been sent!

Did you log out of your vault in Chrome before testing?

What version of the NPM extension is installed in Edge? I have ver 7.0.0.16

Under Details for the NPM extension in Edge, be sure you have not checked any options.

My settings and version are exactly the same as yours. I made sure that I didn't 'Approve' the login om Chrome when it came thru to my phone.

Still getting no notification when I open Edge!!

If you are getting a notification from Chrome and you do not approve it, and Chrome is still running, if you try to open NPM in Edge, the outstanding Chrome approval could be holding up the system. Make sure you only have one browser open at a time when you try to open NPM.

Good to hear it is working again.

Did your computer restart overnight? When I opened my computer this morning I could tell it had restarted overnight. Seems that Windows got updated, and restarted.
