norton vault not working

Hi just wondering if anyone can help me,,im having trouble with my password vault, i can sign in, but the vault sign on the toolbar dosent light up, and when i go to a website that requires my password to autofill there is no sign in box like usual to release the password,,,ive checked all my norton settings, signed in, signed out of my account, everything is on in the settings
i have uninstalled/reinstalled the toolbar, uninstalled/reinstalled chrome, restarted my pc numerous times, checked all extensions ect, 
just wondering if theres something i havent tried ?,,i havent made any pc changes to programs ect, live update is running and up to date,,any help would be appreciated, thanks

Are you using the Stand Alone version of ID Safe? Or is it part of a Norton security product?

How did you uninstall the Toolbar? From Windows Control Panel?

Hi, im using Norton internet security, when i removed the toolbar i did it through google chrome
yesterday i was online with norton support,,they took over my PC remotely and removed some old chrome files that they said was the issue, it fixed it for about an hour and then it went back to what its been doing,,

Just uninstalling from Chrome does not get a fresh install of ID Safe. That is just the integration with Chrome that would get reset.

I would suggest you should try reinstalling Norton Internet Security to get a fresh install to fix the ID Safe issues. Best way is to use the Norton Removal and Reinstall Tool from    www.norton.com/nrnr   Be sure you read the Before you Begin section, and run LiveUpdate manually a few times, restarting as necessary, until no updates are available.

ok thanks i will give it a try,, just a quick question though, will i need my product key for a fresh install or will my account recognize my existing subscription ?  as im not sure if i still have the disk,,thanks

The Tool looks after removing the existing product and then will reinstall a clean version. It will retain your product key information and will not add an activation to your account.

Hi, i did all of that, twice actually and its still not working, the vault is closed still dosent light up even when its open, so im not sure where to go from here,,maybe i will give support another crack,,thankyou for taking the time to help, its much appreciated cheers,

You say even when it is open. Does this mean that the vault is funtioning but some indication  is not how you expect it? What do you mean by it doesn't light up?

Hi, what i meant was i sign into my fault on the norton toolbar and it opens the vault but the vault sign on the toolbar isnt highlighted, and when that happens autofill wont work, but ive been onto support again and they have done a fix that seems to be working, so alls good,,i very much appreciate the time you took to help with my problem, cheers from Karen

im pretty sure it was fixed by deleting/disabling some extensions in chrome, not sure which ones
