Not able to scan or do Norton Insight on a file
I have three (3) computers running Windows 10, all of which are up-to-date with Microsoft, including the recent Windows 10 Spring release. All are running Norton Security, version 188.8.131.52 under a 10 device license.
When I right-click on a file to do a scan or check the file’s Norton Insight status, I am presented with different options on the three computers. One offers only “Add to Backup” or “Exclude from Backup”, i.e., no ability to scan the file or run Norton Insight. The second offers those and the ability to scan the file. The third includes the offers of the first two, and the offer to run Norton Insight.
Why the difference? Is this related to the recent (early May, 2018) Windows 10 update? How can I get the choices back on the computers which are missing them?
