NOTON MISSPELLING in a message; REAL?

I am seeing what looks like a real Norton message, but there is a misspelling in it.  Is it really Norton's or not?  NOTE the word "NOTON"

And if it is a spam/malware/virus, why is my real Norton not catching it?

Re: NOTON MISSPELLING in a message; REAL?

Hello DerekNorton72

Yes, it is a real Norton popup. The spelling typo was corrected in today's HOTFIX. To receive the HOTFIX which is only available if you are running 22.9.1.12, please run Live Update repeating it a few times with restarts. You will have a Patch to apply. There is no version change.

Thanks.

Success always occurs in private and failure in full view. Windows 10 Pro 64 bit Norton Core Security Plus 22.17.3.50 Core Firmware 282 I E 11 Chrome latest version.
