Online Backup

I have been paying this online backup service for over 10 years.  For the first time I needed to restore some files to work while traveling three or four days ago, it didn't restore.  The site just doesn't respond to the command.  That totally defeats the purpose of paying for this when I needed it.  It's adversely affecting my client relationship since they need the work done and may cost my the business with them.  I was online for over four hours with a total of 8 tech supports and no one could help me.  Then I was told to wait for another 48 working hours to just to know the result.  This is not acceptable!  This makes me wonder what I have been paying for the past more than 10 years for!

Hello Nekojan. You cannot restore files from a computer that those backup were not made from unfortunately. Also, Norton products are geo-locked unless purchased directly from the Norton website. Were you traveling abroad at the time this took place? An older thread discusses this issue as it is related to legal and other laws that prevent certain software to be used in certain areas. Customer support SHOULD already know that.

It was working 2 days prior here in Canada. Tech support went into my machine, added a new computer (this MS Surface that I am travelling with) to test if NOBU works or not. They were able to create a backup and restore. The issue was accessing the backup of my server. Today, they must've resolved it as I was able to access the needed files after trying multiple times throughout the day.
