Outlook login not autofilling

https://login.live.com/login  used to work, but now it has changed over to a double authentication and will not auto populate.  It does work occasionally, but I do not know why.  First asks for the username, then click next, then asks for the password.

Another issue is that when it autofills the username, it appears all jumbled.  I have to hit space at the end of the username, before my username is listed correctly.

Sounds like you are referring to the Microsoft signing-in problems. Yes?

If so, there are several other threads on this problem, with screen shots. I'm just dashing out - if no-one else has posted a link to those threads I'll do so when I fey back. Hoping this helps.

is this what you're seeing, assuming you are referring to logging into Microsoft?

If so before I point you to the other threads try again asap. My 'SIgn In' there is now working perfectly - touch wood!

After reading some other comments, I decided to open the Vault and see what was in the settings.  Turned out that when I left the autofill on, but turned off the auto submit, it started to work again.  Not sure how long, but that solved my immediate problem.  Thanks for all the help.

Glad it's solved. the problem to which I referred happened to me mid-October just after a Windows Update. It's happened before, again just after an update. I was getting nowhere on the MS forum so came here: http://community.norton.com/en/comment/7232451#comment-7232451

Imacri came up with the answer there - to change my Vault sign-in to a two-stage sign in and it worked. But then MS did something else and all failed until a few days ago.

I've adopted the two-stage sign-in shown by Imacri to other forums that require it so it's a useful tool to have!
