Password manager with multiple users

Hi,

we use password manager and what to acces it from different windows users on different machines.

It all seemed to work well. Now I found that the list of identities are not synchronized between the users. That is a big surproise since I expected the Identity safe to store in the cloud at NORTON and every user is getting the secured list of identities from there. For some reason the synchronization seems to not work that way.

I wonder how I can ensure that all users see the same list and any of them can update whenever needed. Only then can I be certain that the identities are always up-to-date.

Best regards,

Uwe

Re: Password manager with multiple users

If the different users are using their own Norton Account to store their vaults, there is no way for one user's vault to sync with another user's vault. That is why you set up separate accounts.

The only way for all users to access the same vault is for them to be signing into the same Norton Account. Maybe set up a  Norton Account for the family and setting up a vault in that account.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

Re: Password manager with multiple users

Thanks!

All users share the same Norton account and the same vault. That is why I expected that the identities are the same. Indeed all can access the vault with the same key, but the content is different. Maybe I set-up something wrong ...

Is there a way to see in the web which vault is available and who accesses it? That would allow me to verify the set-up.

Re: Password manager with multiple users

As long as all the users are signing into the vault using the the same Norton Account email and password, then the same vault password, they should be seeing the same vault contents.

Are they using different browsers?
