Password Manager not working on Angular login page
I work for a software company that maintains web application that utilizes Angular on the front end. We recently became aware that there is an issue using our login page when using Norton Password Manager with either Chrome or Firefox on Windows. The problem occurs whenever the Password Manager is enabled in the browser, regardless of whether the Password Manager has been authenticated or if it is using a local or online vault.
The specific issue is that when any text is entered into the username or password fields, it is immediately cleared. The text can be entered by typing, pasting, or even using the Password Manager. Any method of putting text into these fields will fail with the text being immediately cleared.
During our internal debugging, we determined that removing the "ng-model" attributes from the username and password fields prevents the problem, which points to some sort of interaction between Angular and the Password Manager. At this point, actually removing the ng-model attributes from these fields in our web application is a non-viable option as it would essentially require a complete rewrite of our login page, which could cascade into other areas as well.

EDIT: Some users have also reported this issue with IE and Edge.
