Password Manager: Which version? Can I switch off autofill?

I have a dozen or so sites which I have never included in any password manager as they are so sensitive eg online banking and  I keep paper records for them.

The problem is that when I want to access them up pops Password Manager and I can't see what I'm keying in because of this:

Is there any way that I can stop this Autofill window please?

PS Where can I check which version of Password Manager I have?

Did you try the Don't ask me again link on that pop up?

Look in your Browser's Extension/Add-on settings pages.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

@Taffy_078

Have you tried to see how the "Don't ask me again" link works - sorry I am not sure how that would effect it.

"PS Where can I check which version of Password Manager I have?"

In Edge:

Click on the three dots, then select Extensions

Next you'll see the following: Left Click on the circled Norton Password Manager text

Finally you'll see the following which will show the version.

I am not sure what results the unchecking of Show notifications will have - perhaps you can test it.

Let us know if this helps - there is a method of stopping auto fill and auto submit within each login in the Password Manager, but it would not work for you as you do not have your "sensitive" logins entered in your Password manager.

Re: Password Manager: Which version? Can I switch off autofill?

Hello Peter. Clicking on "Don't ask me again" had no effect. Thanks for how to get the version of Password Manager - I have v6.0.0.8 and I'll now check to see if the latest. Thanks again

Re: Password Manager: Which version? Can I switch off autofill?

thanks Yank - good to hear from you again & hoping you're well. Many thanks for your help - your snip shows that I have the latest version.

Blast! Just found that this forum only allows one 'mark as answer' - every other forum/site I use allow at least two. Any chance of this improvement being made here when it's next upgraded?

Re: Password Manager: Which version? Can I switch off autofill?

this is interesting/wierd - I previously got here by inputting my User Name and Password. Now, presumably as a result of clicking on 'Don't ask me again', I had to input my email address and password - this took me to the forum where I had to log in with my User Name! Any thoughts please?

Re: Password Manager: Which version? Can I switch off autofill?

I think this is probably just a coincidence. Normally every time I come back to the forum, I am still logged in. Even after system restarts. Every once in a while, I come back and have to log in. I think it is just some login timeout set in the forum software.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.
