Patch problem

While performing a Norton LiveUpdate (I have windows 10), I am asked to apply a patch.  I am getting a message saying that I must close "Host Process for Setting Synchronization".  I am not sure what to do here.  Anyone willing to offer some assistance?  Thanks,

Re: Patch problem

Hello FaithChurchGalesburg. Manually power off your system and let it sit for 2-3 minutes. Reboot the computer, the patch should apply during reboot. Run live update manually again to make sure you got the patch and it installed correctly. Once you have the issue resolved follow the steps in this article to disable synching your settings in Windows 10, it should prevent the issue from reoccurring.
