Poor world-wide support for Norton Products

I purchased a Norton Security product from an authorized Indian vendor (Flipkart) less than a year ago. Now I am currently in the United States, and my product starts complaining that my trial period has expired, although I still have my subscription period valid! My valid product key is being rejected too. I reach out to the Norton Support Center, and the support executive says that Norton doesn't accept a product key purchased from a different region. So basically, if you purchase your Norton product in Asia, you cannot use it outside Asia! If you move outside this region, this product becomes a piece of garbage in your system. I am thoroughly disappointed with this Norton policy, and resolve to never buy a Norton Product again in the future. This post is just to warn other fellow Norton users of this serious limitation!
