Problems with Chromecast

I am actually using the Norton Security Suite available through comcast/xfinity. I am using Verson

I had this installed on a previous laptop and it all worked fine. But am now using a newer laptop and I cannot see my chromecast device. If I disable Norton all together I can use an app to cast videos that I already own, but I cannot cast streaming media like I am used to doing. Google Chrome cannot see my device with Norton on or off. My app can only see the device with it turned off. If someone would just direct me to a setting so that Chromecast will be compatible and used then I would be very grateful. The app that I use for videos I own and that are on my computer is VideoStream for Google Chrome.

If you still see the issues with Norton off, then Norton should not be involved.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.
