Program Blocked with Firewall Still Accesses Internet

On my wife's machine, Norton informed her today that she had a threat.

I then blocked the source program (SolSuite) using the Firewall

Nonetheless, the program is still accessing the Internet.

How can I prevent this, please?

Thank you.

Hello

Does she have the latest version of the game? I would suggest that you could uninstall and reinstall the program, run Live Update to make sure it is up to date. If you think that this is a False Positive, you can submit the file to Norton for further testing. Also, please make sure you  download the program from the official website. I saw that the site for the game has a Green OK.

To report a false positive, please use this link

Please post your attachments as screenshots. That is safer than opening up attachments. Here is how to post screenshots.

Here are the instructions on how to add a image to your post.

Re: Program Blocked with Firewall Still Accesses Internet

Thank you floplot, but we've decided to run rather than fight: We've simply dumped the entire program. My wife says she's content with her other Solitaire games. As for "To report a false positive, please use this link", the thing that really got me with Norton's threat warning was that I was unable to locate any of the flagged .dlls anywhere on my computer; they were definitely not in the folder that Norton indicated. In regard to "Please post your attachments as screenshots. That is safer than opening up attachments.", I have two comments: (1) Unfortunately, the text box I'm looking at now doesn't have that toolbar; maybe it's only available to the OP. (2) The only upload possibility I saw (and see at this moment) says, "File Attachment" and "Add a new file". In my posting, I'm pretty sure I saw that the line "Allowed file types: txt pdf zip" (or an analogous one) included the possibility to upload .png files. Otherwise I think my screenshots would have been zapped. In closing, thanks again for for your time and effort.

Re: Program Blocked with Firewall Still Accesses Internet

Thanks for your follow-up, but as I've written, we've dumped the program.

I think this case is closed.
