Protection alert in Chrome and Firefox

My wife is still running XP (I know, I am building her a new system) and is now getting Protection alerts in Firefox and Chrome saying that the Norton features are not on. We never had this before and wonder just what needs to be enabled?

If it ain't broke, fix it 'til it is!

Re: Protection alert in Chrome and Firefox

You do not actually have to enable anything. It is just letting you know that there are some Norton features you may not have enabled. ie the Norton Toolbar, or Identity Safe. If there is not a 'do not ask again' link,  you can click through the alert and then close out the next page. That should stop the alerts.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.
