Recover ID safe password

I just completed a Win7 OS update and rebooted. As usual, after OS post boot login, IDS prompted for a password.

My password for same is very, very simple given the very strong OS password. Nonetheless, the password now fails (numlocks confirmed). I can login to my Norton account but that doesn't appear to offer a solution.

If I understand the prompts, a password resolve will cause all of the existing IDS to be deleted.

Is there not a way to recover constructively?

Btw, I do have an exported dat and crv from 8/26/12 if all else fails.

Hi Mark,

Can you tell us which ID Safe you are running?

Associated with NIS, N 360 or the stand alone ID Safe?

If NIS or N 360, please tell us which version you are using (Main page of UI > Support > About)?

We'll be awaiting your responses.

Re: Recover ID safe password

Iirc the identity safe password must be very strong in that it has at least one capital letter, at least one number & one special character - say % - & must be a certain length, 10 characters I think. I wonder whether you're missing out the special character from your password.
