Long-time [2 decades] Norton user ... currently using NS w/BU with nearly 700 days left on my subscription; been a beta-tester in years past; loyal to product. I have reached my limit.
I was already having issues that were never satisfactorily resolved ... with BU [ended up disabling it and purchasing iDrive software for my back-ups], IS [toolbar stalling and replicating my IE favorites bar], anti-spam [causing Outlook 365 to lock-up], Facebook scan [will not stay enabled], failure to launch reliably upon reboot, etc. God only knows what will happen when Windows 10 is officially launched. Using fully updated Windows 8.1 Pro w/ Media Center 64-bit. NS seems to never have been fully polished. I tried very hard to accept it, because it was Norton.
Now, we have this update issue that completely breaks the software and was obviously not tested properly. Norton has lost my trust.
How do I get a hassle-free & FULL refund for my remaining subscription. Norton's support has been horrific in recent times. I just want a simple refund so that I can move on. Bitdefender is looking very good. Time for a change.
