Region Activation Problem

I bought Norton Security Premium in the US for my US PC for 10 PC. 5 PC are activated fine. One US Laptop was expired during by business trip. Now cannot activate the subscription on this PC because the US PC is in EU territory and Norton says this Product is invalid in your region. I mean Norton what is that? I have an US PC running on US Windows 10 registered on my US Address and you would not allow me to activate the 6 out of 10 PC only because I am in the EU right now. Just give me a break! What a terrible Idea. I am strongly thinking to move to AVG since 15 years using Norton. Fix it quick. I will be back from EU in the US not within 2 Weeks!

Other users have seen this issue. One user found that if you purchased your Norton product from a retailer, the keys were restricted to the region you purchase in. If you purchase directly from Norton's web site, the keys would work anywhere. See this thread..   https://community.norton.com/en/forums/internet-security-deluxe-wont-wor... You can try contacting Support via online chat and ask them to give you a replacement key for your subscription.   www.norton.com/chat

You can give them the link above if they seem to know nothing about this issue.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

It's the curse of the nonbreaking space in HTML that stops yours for me too although the URL seems OK in Status Bar because the nonbreaking space is not visible!

If you or a trustworthy friend/colleague know how to work a VPN you can pretend to be in the US and renew your license from wherever you are.

That's a PITA but others report that it works while, hopefully, Norton sort this out.  But the more useful way would be to contact the Norton OnLine Support via the CHAT route as suggested and ask them to resolve it by issuing a replacement Norton issued key, although I fear you might not reach someone who knows that they can .....

Please let us know how you get on and don't give up on Norton .... certainly not for the one you suggest!
