Reinstall Norton Security Without Losing Activation

I need to reinstall Norton Security to a different drive to save space on my C: drive, but I want to make sure I don't lose the activation license in the process.  Suggestions would be appreciated.

Re: Reinstall Norton Security Without Losing Activation

As long as you are installing on the same physical computer (motherboard), reinstalling does not use up an activation. I have even dual booted to different operating systems with only one activation used on the one computer.

EDIT

Just be sure you fully remove Norton before installing to the different hard drive, just in case there could be some incompatibilities caused by the old install. Use the information for the Norton Removal and Reinstall tool to remove only.    www.norton.com/nrt   Then install again on your other hard drive, and be sure you run LiveUpdate manually a few times, restarting as necessary, until no updates are available.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.
