Renewing Norton Secuirty Deluxe

I have been using Norton Security Deluxe on several PC's and need to renew soon. Instead of buying 2 Norton Security Deluxe (5 Devices), i have bought Norton Security Premium (10 devices) as it was a cheaper option. Just wondered whether I can use Product Key for Norton Security Premium to renew the subscription on Norton Security Deluxe that I am currently using. I am hoping that this is possible and that I don't have to uninstall existing and download/activate a different version.

Advice appreciated

Re: Renewing Norton Secuirty Deluxe

Norton has gone to  a single image type of install that installs the correct features according to the product key entered. If you have Norton installed already, just open the main Norton screen and click on Help - Enter Product Key. If the key is for a different product, Norton should automatically start the process of updating your product to the one associated with that key.

You will need to do that on all PC's on your subscription.

Re: Renewing Norton Secuirty Deluxe

Excellent news - just what I was hoping would be the case. Norton security Premium comes with Back Up and 25gb of secure online storage. I back up all my machines via Acronis and do not want to enable/use this feature. Is this feature something that you have to manually enable, in which case I can ignore and need do nothing, or will it be auto enabled and require me to disable it somehow?

Re: Renewing Norton Secuirty Deluxe

The backup feature will be enabled, and if you ignore it, you will get messages from your Norton product about the backup. You can disable backup. From the main Norton Screen, click on Settings. And on the right side, you can clear the X from Backup in the Quick Controls section. Or you can go into the Backup Settings and change it from there.
