Renewing Subscriptions. Why??
Have been using Norton for many many years. Like Many users, I also get very frustrated with Norton at Renewal Time. Almost every year after trying auto renewal, I am forced to purchase usually from Amazon, a new copy or Key, because the renewal price is ridiculously high. Last year I was stunned when the price was only $2 more than Buying from Amazon.(probably thought I was new to this scam). I purchased this as it was so so much easier. Especially when having it on 5 devices. I dont expect to get it cheaper, and would pay maybe even $5 more than Amazon for the convenience.
This year my renewal price again was nearly three times the price on Amazon. So again I purchased a key on Amazon. Now 4 days before my old subscription expires I am offered a price Half the original offer.
This is getting really old and tiring.I have lost track over the years of how many times I have read complaints about this practice.
When trying to understand the reasoning behind this practice, you can only come to the conclusion Its a scam, knowing that there will be some out there who sign up for Auto Renewal and don't notice the price when its time to renew.
Yes we still buy Norton , but at some point a competitor will get my money. But surely it would be better to somehow respect the long time customer. I
