Restore Backup-set from another Computer

With Norton Security I create backups on a NAS on my network. After a crash of one computer I need to restore this computers backup on another computer on the network. The backup set from the old computer does not appear on the new computers backup location list in Norton Security running on this computer. How do I create a pointer in Norton on the new computer, that will allow Norton to recognize the old computers backup-set?

Clalx. Have you followed this guide?

"From DOS to Windows10 what a journey it has been" / MS Certified Professional / Windows Server 2016 Essentials / Windows 10 Professional x 64 version 1903 / build 18362.356 / N360 Deluxe 22.19.8.65 / Norton Core v.282 on Android 2.00

Yes. But in step 3, when "view all" is selected, only the backup-sets created from the new computer shows, which is the problem here, because then I cannot select files from the backup-set from the crashed computer.

Hello again. Follow the screenshot below, click the line highlighted in the red circle. Log into your Norton account, from there you should be able to see ALL the backup sets you have available on line. Since you are looking to get a backup set from a portable / external device you may want to follow this Symantec semployees instructions here. You can download the ARestore file from here: http://liveupdate.symantecliveupdate.com/upgrade/ARestore/ARestore.zip
