Retrieving Device Information

Since my current protection expired, I am trying to install a new version. Logged into www.norton.com/setup and clicked devices. From then on, for over an hour or so, it says it is "retrieving device information". I can't get passed this stage to install my new protection. Is it normal to take this long or longer to retrieve my device info? Please help and thanks in advance.

Welcome to the Norton Community Forums!

www.norton.com/setup opens without any problems here in Europe. Maybe a temporary server problem in your location?

EDIT: try also http://manage.norton.com  though if it is a server problem it may not work either...

Try talking to Norton Customers Support using the link given by bjm_.  However please note that it is not available everywhere during weekends.

I had the same problem. it was suggested to me to turn off compatibility view settings under Tools. That was the fix for me. Hope it works for you. Good Luck ! Please come back and let us know if this has helped. Thanks.

Success always occurs in private and failure in full view. Windows 10 Pro 64 bit Norton Core Security Plus 22.18.0.213 Core Firmware 282 I E 11 Chrome latest version.
