Scam Insight don't work in FF 57?

It seemed that Scam Insight don't work anymore in Firefox 57. I checked some sites from Phishtank and they was blocked as suspicious in Crome (and reported in Symantec) but marked as safe in my Firefox 57.0.2. I think NS could block only known dangerous sites in Firefox now, but can't do it "on behavior". Who can conform it? Symantec really messed up with Firefox (again) if it's true.

Vitalink93 Your issue is with Firefox itself. Please check your permissions.  Here is the support matrix for NS on Firefox: https://support.norton.com/sp/en/us/home/current/solutions/v115161915_EndUserProfile_en_us

Re: Scam Insight don't work in FF 57?

All 3 link don't help with this issue anyway. Also I don't think that it's only Firefox issue. Symantec should optimize their product for browser and they didn't do that. 2 feautures from Identity protection don't work now - Scam Insight and reputation marks. Just imagine - 2 useless feautures. And we paid for this...

Re: Scam Insight don't work in FF 57?

Hello Vitalik93 The links are indeed relevant, please have another look at them. Per these previous posts here on the forums FF is the issue. LEGACY extensions are now being blocked by FF development:

Re: Scam Insight don't work in FF 57?

Topic from the third link says that new extension protect as good as previous (from " threats, phishing sites, and much more"). But I checked it and it seemed that it's not true, beacause I didn't see how Scam Insight works.

Re: Scam Insight don't work in FF 57?

Vitalik93 below is the part I believe you have missed. Since you have Firefox 57.0.2 your version is after the initial version 57 release therefore all the legacy built functions are disabled by Firefox itself.

The current Norton Toolbar extension is built using legacy technologies that will not be supported by Mozilla after Firefox version 57. Once, you update to Mozilla Firefox version 57, all extensions which are built using legacy standards will be disabled by Firefox.

Per this screenshot do you have this enabled in your product? If so you are protected:

I don't missed anything. I talked about new extension - Safe Web for Firefox. And I have all ticks enabled in Identity Protection enabled.
