Scam Insight: Personal Information Risk → Affecting Site's Editing Ability

Dear Norton Team,

I'm hoping you can assist me.  I'm a current Norton customer and user.

I have designed a new website for my gastroenterologist, who is in the process of introducing a new treatment for Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD).

The problem: Despite installing an SSL Certificate on the Doctor's website, as well as uploading the Norton HTML Verification File, Norton is making editing the site especially tedious.

  • Every action in the back-end triggers the following Warning, which is consuming a great deal of extra time.
    • "Scam Insight: Personal Information Risk"

Is there any way around this problem?  If so, any advice to resolve this issue would be truly appreciated.

Please note: The site does not facilitate payments.

Thank you and kind regards,

^Russ

Hello Russell. I opened the link to your admin login and was given the info in the screenshot below.

Clicking on "report issue" in the lower right corner brings up this URL where you can report the scam insight false positive. Please submit the issue there for a resolution. Hope this helps.

Cheers

Re: Scam Insight: Personal Information Risk → Affecting Site's Editing Ability

Hello Russell Dymond

The Scam Insight page shows up because it is a new site. I will ask the Safe Web Team to remove the Scam warning. I will also have them White List your site. This will allow you to make changes to your site and it won't be counted as a new site again.

Please stay tuned to this thread for a response from the Safe Web Team on Sunday night after midnight EST.

Have a Good Night and

Thanks.
