Security alert.

I keep getting security alerts on most sites, even this one. It says "The name on the security certificate is invalid or does not match the name on the site" I had a Norton technician go althrough my Norton antivirus and couldn't find anything that would cause this, he suggested that I contact windows 10 support, which I did and they suggested I re-download windows 10 and that should fix it. After a long time downloading, it didn't make any difference, in fact, now I can't even get into Norton help chat. I don't know what else to do.

Re: Security alert.

Please make sure that the time and date on your system clock is correct.  If the date is wrong, Windows can flag valid security certificates as expired.  If you see a lot of certificate warnings from many different websites, this is typically the cause.  A failing CMOS battery can cause the system clock to lose track of the time and date when your PC is turned off.

Who is Permalink? The only "Permalink" I see is a "permanent link" to each post... (unless I'm just not following somehow)
