Settings page pops up whenever I open Identity safe

On my PC (Windows 10), whenever I open identity safe (either initially or after I sign in) I have to close the Settings page before I can get to my passwords or do anything else.

This happens on both Firefox and Chrome.

Hello davidknc

Have you turned off Fast Startup?

Here is a link for turning off Fast Startup in Windows 10

Hope it helps. Thanks.

Hi davidknc,

Just curious, are you talking about the Settings page for the main UI of your Norton Product, or the  Identity Safe Settings page?   If the ID Safe Settings, please  close it down (X in upper right corner) prior to shutting down and see if that makes any difference when trying to open ID Safe again.  You may desire to close the Vault if it is open prior to closing the Settings page and rebooting.

Re: Settings page pops up whenever I open Identity safe

I just noticed what I've been doing. I've been selecting the "Open Identity Safe Settings" link at the bottom. But I don't see any other link on that screen (after selecting the ellipses on the toolbar) to log into or open the safe itself.

What am I missing?

Re: Settings page pops up whenever I open Identity safe

To just open the vault you click on Vault is Closed on the Norton Toolbar. If using Firefox, this will not work at the moment as the Toolbar is being re written to comply with all the changes Mozilla has made lately.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.
