some pages disrupted display, chrome-type browsers

Some pages have disrupted displays near the top of them in chrome-based browsers which have the Norton Security Toolbar  (yes, updated to current version of the toolbar).  If the tool bar is turned off, the affected pages have less disruption to their display.  The affected pages so far seem to be Yahoo Mails, after first reading any email message; some parts of YouTube.  The part of the pages affected are near the top of the page.  Some parts there are cutoff.  No problem found using Firefox nor Internet Explorer.

Windows 7;

Google Chrome v. 39, portable SlimJet (current version, forgot which).

and

Windows Vista;

portable SlimJet (not sure version, but current one), portable Superbird v. 37.

Re: some pages disrupted display, chrome-type browsers

Hi, g_cafe_c.   Norton currently only supports IE, Firefox and Chrome.

As you've found, the Toolbar may not work correctly in unsupported browsers, even though the coding may be similar.

The Norton Toolbar apparantly does not work correctly in Google Chrome Browser either.

One of the specified conditions is Windows 7, Google Chrome version 39, and specifically known pages found to not allow for proper display are Yahoo Mail (after reading any single email message), and YouTube.  Displays become disrupted.

Chrome can be very problematic, which is why I don't use it. I guess you've checked out these links ?

and the trouble shooting link which is a little older

Maybe some current Chrome users may have some tips.
