There might be a Virus on my pc... Help!

Alright so i got s quick question. Sense people the create viruses to spread them fast, wouldn’t free downloads contain them because of how fast they want it to spread? For instance, say you had a free Hacked Client for what ever game right. Well if you where getting one that cost money and didn’t have a rap for containing a virus then, would or could there still be a virus on that? I mean if it was a paid Hacked Client People want to make money right? So i would think it’s safe but i need help. If you want the question I’m asking simplified read this, Wouldn’t a virus be in a Hacked Client that was free? (YES) But what about a paid one?

Game hacks, free or otherwise could in theory have PUPs, Possibly Unwanted Programs, or outright malware included with the download.

You need to be vigilant about the source of your downloads. Only download from known reputable sites.

Ok does that mean it could have PUP’s even if it is payed? The thing I’m using is from a YouTuber with 150k subs and other reviews from other youtubers and it seemed legit

It could. That is how the developers can make a little extra money. And even malware developers could try to sell their 'product' to make it look legit. Usually a PUP should have an option to not download it when you are looking at the download. You just have to be careful. Or just use the game as it was designed. See if the designer has any add ons.
