Is there a way to create a desktop shortcut for Identity Safe on the browser toolbar?

When I click on the Norton ID Safe tab in my browser toolbar, it appears that an ID Safe process is created that shows up in my Windows task bar when I minimize it.  I would like to be able to launch ID Safe without having to first start up my browser. Is there a way to do this?  I do not have the stand alone version, just the one that is included in Norton 360.  My system is XP SP3.

I tried a couple of things to do what you want. It does not look like it can be done unless you have the Stand Alone version. Even if you right click on the icon created when you open ID Safe, you will see it lists Norton Internet Security, not Identity Safe. (or Norton 360 if you have that installed)

Why would you want to run Identity Safe outside the browser?

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

I was wondering if you click the VAULT IS OPEN button, click to Open the Identity Safe Ap, then right-click the icon on the Taskbar and choose Pin this program to the Taskbar, if that would work after a restart?

A little bit of knowledge is... well a little bit of knowledge.

Nope. Just tried that and it will start your NIS or 360.
