Is there a way to view logs from my.norton.com?

I manage 20+ PCs and have been asked if we retain the antivirus logs on the PCs. It appears that Norton Security keeps logs and that I can view them locally on a PC. Is there a way to view the logs from the my.norton.com console? I really don't want to have to visit every PC to view the logs.

Hi TOW MIS,

No - not that I am aware!  As you know they are locally available on each individual PC.

Are you able to set up Remote Desktop on these PC's? Then you could access those logs from your own workstation.

Obviously this is easier if all PCs are on the same network.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

Hi TOW MIS:

Are you a system admin for a small business? If these 20 computers are owned by the same company it might make more sense to purchase a product like Symantec Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition ($28 US per license / year  x 20 = $560.00 US).  Norton products are intended for home consumers while Symantec business products like Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) are managed from a central web portal where the admin(s) can receive automatic alerts and reports from the client machines.

I don't know a great deal about SEP but I understand that the user interface on the SEP client is very similar to the interface of a Norton home product, so individual employees shouldn't notice a big change on their local machine.

Thanks for the info. I'll look into that though I will probably have to live with the tradeoff of saving $$ using NSP instead of SEP. Right now we're paying $110/yr for 20 licenses. Paying an additional $450/yr for the ability to remotely manage each desktop is hard to justify.

Hello

You can get TeamViewer and access each computer that way.
