caretaker2010 Could you post a screenshot of what you are seeing? You are most likely seeing the Norton page where its asks you to activate certain add-on's in Norton.

You can get screenshots by using the built in "snipping tool" in windows.

Re: toolbar needs configation but it already configed

This has been happening on my google chrome for a while now says configure but they are installed nothing i have done can fix it. see my post here https://community.norton.com/en/forums/norton-toolbar-extension-chrome-c...    and down towards the bottom of that thread is pics of it and a new one i just posted today. like i said nothing fixes this at all not even, a removal and reinstall of extension, something is broken with the norton extension and the google chrome, i have latest chrome version 58.0.3029.110 (64-bit).

Re: toolbar needs configation but it already configed

This sounds like a message from Norton when you first install Norton. It is letting you know you may not have all Norton browser protection features set up.

If there is a Do not ask again link, click that. If there is not, just click to go ahead and configure. It will take you to a page that lists all the features you can enable, with their current status. You can ignore everything on that page if it reflects the protection you want. Just close that page and you should not see the message again.

A recent update to Norton brought this up again but for Internet Explorer.

yeah i have all extensions installed but it still says this, its like the extension for chrome is not hooking into the norton protection somehow, they really need to fix this.

You have all extensions installed, but did you click through the message as I suggested? That should let Norton know you have looked at the page they want you to see.

Unless we are talking of different Norton notifications. Can you post a screenshot if it comes back?
