URGENTt trying to restore files before trip overseas for business

Update:  Using windows XP and Internet explorer 8   Just want to know if what restore is doing is normal.  The 100% has me confused.

Had to do a clean install.  Doing last step and trying to restore files from online backup thru Norton 360 Premier.  I believe around 18GB of info.  I started  after midnight last night (I think) I have lack of sleep LOL.  Restarted 2 times or so also as well couldn't make up my mind where I wanted to restore.  Also had the internet connection fail.  I plugged laptop directly into modem instead of using wireless.   It is still running today. What is says on the screen is.

Restoring your files      Receiving Files . . .    Progress:  100%.

I also looked at task manager and it is running   I know when I originally did a new back-up on 9-24-12 it took over 13 hours to back-up on Norton 360 online back up.

Any information would highly be appreciated.   I also have another question, but on a different issue with back-up.  Will send later.  This is the most important thing.

Opps, my question is. . is this normal.  How long will it take?   Should I start again?

Hi Nsor

I've responded to the message you sent. Absolutely do not stop it. It is processing a large restore and is building the download files now. The 100% pertains to the download of that file and the processing of it. Everything appears to be working fine at the moment.

Re: URGENTt trying to restore files before trip overseas for business

Thanks very much!   I am all set.  As you mentioned in your note at the top of this blog. .  you just have to start the process and wait.  I had 12GB of information, it took about 15 hours or so.  One piece of advice I would give is to make sure your computer/laptop is hooked in via cable line directly to your modem.  My wireless stopped a couple of times and the process had to be started over.   I then swiitched and plugged directly in.  Patience is the key here.   I am going into back up and delete old file sets and redo my online back up.  Appreciate your help and prompt response.  :-)
