Using Norton Identity Safe - Best Practice ?

I am a returning user, from a few years of AVAST bacj to Norton.  One reason I used AVAST was that its password manager worked intuitively and consistently. I return now to Norton due to cost savings - at least for the first year.

I am struggling with Identity Safe - how to integrate the Password generator when creating an initial password or when updating/changing to a new one, how to automatically capture userid / password / web address when logging in for the first time, not autofilling - but only in some cases.

Anyone else work thru struggles like this?  Wondering if there is a different thought process I need to learn.

The ID Safe has undergone major changes.

Finally an announcement from Norton on the ID Safe changes.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.
