Website blocked: Web Attack: JSCoinminer Download 8.

Our website has been blocked when people go to it. They get "Norton blocked an attack by: Web Attack: JSCoinminer Download 8." We did have an issue and that has since been resolved. My account in Norton Safe Web shows the site to be Green/Ok. However, those with Norton are still getting blocked with the same warning. The site address is skidoooutlet.com. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Thanks, yes, it shows it clean. So, why are we continuing to be blocked by Norton protected computers?

From the blog linked by floplot

JScoinminer is a web-based detection for a JavaScript cryptocurrency miner that runs in web browsers. The JavaScript coin miner consumes enormous CPU resources, making computer very slow. The JavaScript is loaded in the browser when you visit a webpage hosting the JavaScript. The JavaScript runs as long as you stay on the webpage. As long as the website being visited is injected with the coin mining JavaScript, the website will be blocked by this signature. The computer system is not actually "infected" when this detection triggers.

So webmonger, you need to check your website code to ensure it has not been hacked, or possibly any ad services you may have on your site that may be serving infected ads.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.
